Content writing

Generates written web materials. Can be used for marketing or entertainment. Done in any way intended to get attention and deliver the information across. Well known examples, are blogs, scripts & postings. Product A does 123, Product B does 456.

Copywriting

Specifically used for marketing & branding needs that are written to persuade the readers or viewers. There is more work being put into copywriting as it is not just sending the information out but persuading the audience why in that form of information they should feel happy with A & feel angry with B. Buy product A, hate product B. Examples of these are slogans, scripts & even videos.


3. UI & UX

UI | User interface

The visual elements allow users to interact with a product. UI focuses on the visual and first impression of a product. Typography, images, layout and colours. UI is important to make the product appealing, easy on the eyes.

UX | User experience

Is the process the product takes a user through. The emotions and ease of use the user go through. Focuses on the user-friendly use of the product. A good UX means things just fall in place nicely and methodically bringing the user where he/she is intended to be brought to. A good UX means an easy to use product, hassle-free.

UI UX

One does need the other to create a great product. Like an app or system. A product has great UI UX when things just flow naturally with resistance, the process and use is enjoyable. Bad UI UX makes it hard for users to use, discomfort, overall takes more energy than is supposed to require for a certain task. Great UI UX means getting from destination A to Z is easy & quick(UX). Visually appealing, comforting(UI), a great experience ( UI UX)



4. Design & art

Design

Created to have a functional purpose & made to communicate to a target audience. Design starts with logic, strategy & data-driven processes.

Art

Does not have a functional purpose. Draws out emotions and provokes thoughts among observers & made with instinct and ideas .
